Good or bad for what?
Compared to what? AT/MT/Extreem
Is it your daily driver?
What's your poison, touring, rock crawling, mud bashing, sand blasting, driving to church on sundays?

Go the Simex if it is only for offroading.

On road, fantastic. Sticks well to the wet bitumen.
Good on dirt and rocks.
Not as good in the mud. Straight line ok but not much in off cambour situations.

That pretty much sums them up, they make a great touring tyre as they're capable in most situations and are great on the road.
I'll be on them again come my next Tassie trip.

I found them to be very quiet until they were about 50% worn then they started to become very noisy.

Ive got a set of 37"s and use them if i was driving conditions require a mud terrain type tyre . They not a full-on offroad tyre like a swamper or simex but better than a BFG muddie, they drive nice on the blacktop if you need to do some km's to get to your destination.
