Hi Gary, welcome to OL.

This thread has some tips on finding electronic manuals on the net. I've not followed the tips, so I don't know if there's any info on 2.5 diesels. Hopefully, somebody else can help out with more info.

Then there's this site where you can buy PDF manuals from the UK. One of the screen shots shows "4D5" which is part of the code for the 2.5 engine, so you might get lucky - send them an email?

But most of the more readily available manuals appear to be everything but the 2.5. :?

Good luck,

Scott

Hi Garyq!
I've got a Pajero manual, but I don't know if U can find it.
On the front cover it says:

MITSUBISHI
PAJERO
1983 thru 1996
Pajero Series NA thru NJ () Petrol and diesel models
Automotive Repair Manual
Every Manual Based on a Complete Teardown and Rebuild
*According to the above mentioned manual,it can be found at:
Haynes Manuals,Inc
34 Jellico Drive
Scoresby,Victoria 3179 Australia*
I hope this will help U!
Cheers RASPAS

hey Gary,
you can order the manual 'RASPAS' posted, direct from Haynes in victoria.
book no. 68765
just go to there web site.
if you are in adelaide there is also a guy who can get you it cheaper than ordering direct !! let me know if you want his details

the manual has a complete section on the 2.5td motor

hope this helps

I'm looking for one for my NK 3.0 lwb but have been unsuccessful so far.
Does that manual cover it as well?
I'd have thought the running gear would be the same as the NJ :)

yes. they are all mostly the same running gear. i have an NL 2.8td which the manual doesnt specifically cover, but most of what i want is in there.
it only covers NA thru NJ (the model before yours).

Get it while it's hot 1.7Meg about 176 pages 2.5TDI 4D56 91-93 factory workshop manual.
Remember this is just for the engine only.

Just for fun, I rang mitsubishi today to see if they'd sell me a workshop manual for my NK.
Given that it's 17+ volumes and runs to something over $1500,
I'll take a punt on the NJ manual :)
Pitstop bookshop (www.pitstop.net.au) has both the haynes and the gregorys versions in stock so I'll see which one's more relevant.

By the way anyone know the total ATF capacity of the automatic tranny coupled to my 4d56?
