Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Has anyone thought of this....

was thinking something similar in design to the stock ones on the top of lux front diffs........

getting a fair bit of wrap in the front end with the soft leaves......

small any wrap bar from the diff pumkin up to the front of the chassis ( like the hiluxes.... )

would this work... or has anyone else got other ideas to reduce wrap on the front?

Not sure if its doable matey - 1 - room is at a premium and length of bracket would make it weak as hey.... oh n wouldn't sump etc get in the way of flex and make it more applicable to go with Bogans suggestion?

I know I am not all that cluey on technical stuff and am better at makin gstuff look good as you have said but this is what springs to mind to be major problem gettin in way of solution.... or maybe its the booze?

The antiwrap bar in the hi-lux seems to hold back on the travel it seems to me. If you are going to doa reverse shackle on the front, like you want. Couldn't you then afford to slip one more leaf back in wich will help heaps and no effect the travel as much.

Made from a bent cut down rangie radius arm (cheap & easy)

Dont mind the leaks

Overall makes it climb heaps better and doesnt limit travel much at all

Yea am aware that they do limit travel. I was thinking similar, but with a rose joint on either end....

anyways, your idea seems ok to me....

If i strengthen the pack with thick leaves and do reverse shackle with the mount nicely in to get a good shackle angle, i should not limit flex.

it will work, but you will more than likely kink your spring pack on whichever side you put it on.

got any other ideas carlton as to how to go about it?

the only other thing you can do ather than run a stiffer pack its to make your perches longer.

I think im going to reverse shackle with way longer than standard front springs in there, and see how i go
