G'day lads,
I'm new on this - looks like a great forum.
We've got a dodge WC52 Weapons Carrier That i'm pretty sure has a bent axle housing.
Just wondering if any one has a rear axle asm. they want to off load (take a front as spare too I guess), In melb or north vic would be ideal.
For interest: I've got a lock right coming from the states for her. has anyone gone through the installation for one of these? how do they drive after its in?

I don't reckon you'll find many people with a spare anything for the WC. Where did you get hold of one? Got any pics? What plans do you have for it?

Yer, their not the most common 4bie.
Dad's had it for years, I've sorta comandeered it for a while. Got plent of pics, might post some soon.
Plans:
The WC52's already got a 351 clevo and 5spd crash box, i've got a locker for it coming 9should be here next week. And she's takeing me around Tas with an ol' Landie and a few trail bikes at easter.
We've also got a 6x6 WC63, excellent condition - you wouldn't believe it, very original.
Dad's thinking about selling it though, should post it here i guess.

If you think your diff is bent, remove it from the vehicle and with the wheels on it roll the diff arround without moving the tyres whilst measuring the gap between the top of the wheels.
If it changes the diff is bent.
Place the bent diff on a girder and chain it down, then jack the diff straight,
it sounds simple and it can be if you take your time.

Just going through some old threads and came across this. I recently bought a Dodge WC51 myself. A 351 in it would certainly boost power, but I think I'll restore her to original.
A 6x6 version would be sweet.
