Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Just looking at options for my brother daul cab Hilux (3L late 89), as he was looking at my surfs engine bay was wondering how much stuff would fit his.

So what he is thinking would be to buy a 2LT-E Surf front cut, and use the following off it to be put in his.

Turbo
Air Con
Efi
air box (so more room to fit second battery)
dash

Has anyone done this sort of thing before or know of any one that has. I aware that the turbo will fit.

Also has has anyone used the spare wheel carrier off a surf on a Hilux?

stay away from the EFI off 2L-TE's - it is tuned mostly for emissions control and is a pain to tune for power - you are better off with the mechanical pump on the 3L. the rest of the gear should fit - dash swap is a pain though.
