he only asked for responses which he got from them. He needs to be a bit more specific in what issues etc and what he wants people to do if they have them

From a PM
Thanks for your reply. The issue I am looking for has a picture of Len Beadell sitting down with a guy holding one of his books, I believe it was in the editorial section in 1988. The other man in the picture is my dad and we were hoping to get a copy of the picture/mag if possible.
The photo was actually taken in feb 1988 and appeared later that year in 4x4 Australia maybe in the next couple of months.
Apologizes for not being more specific.
The issue is No 51 Apr5 to May 3 1988
While you looking at it,

If people actually put thought into their intiall post with ALL relevant details it would make answering the question a lot easier. Its taken 10 posts of us arguing to sort out the actual need for the magazine. (which was in a PM, so didn't help any of us anyway until someone posted it).
There is no In and Out crowd here, just gets harder to keep asking the same questions to everyone when they could be simply done in the first place.

There's HEAPS of C*CK HEADS on OL that look down their noses at you if you ask a question that they don't approve of!!!
Some of them seem to be re-offenders too! I won't name anyone but they know who they are..............

why is it so hard to understand. In his intial question it was not clear what he wanted. No one was a c*ckhead about it, when he clarified what he wanted all was good and the problem was solved. People need to realise this is an internet forum and sometimes the playfulness of posts is lost in translation when written out
Yep

I agree
The question was. Does anyone have 4x4 Australia mags dating back to 1988.
The answer only needed to be. Yes i have some which one are you after mate.
So yes there are a lot of smart arses on this site who look down their (im better than everyone else) noses. just because the question isn't to their standards. A simple I don't understand your question. As a response, rather than all the bullshi%# coments, would be great. But then a lot of you ROCK GODS got there by typing trivial rubbish just to get your post count up and really know stuff all about nothing.
And note I said a lot, then theres a lot who are very knowledgeable.
