Where to chop?

Ok photo choppers, where should i part the back off???

andrew its too hard for a photo chopper to do that with the canopy on cause they cant see how much metal is nehind it.
The metal curves down then straightens behind that fibreglass canopy, u chop it at the bottom of the curve so to give u enough room for your seats and bar work.
cant be seen like this in that pic. take ur bloody canopy off dude

nah i wanna loose the entire back end, do 3/4 elliptical springs & bob the chassis off a bit. but good work

I dont think the L28 will turn those tyres. Also dont you have ALT problems. Cos they probably want run all those lights.

That rig looks awsome up close.
i saw it an nissan trials and was having a look at it with Jeremy and Em and bloody hell its a nice chop and tube job.
GQ, but still same principle applied

I would say make your cut as far back as posibble. Then try and square off the bottom of the body. And looking at yours with the canopy this might require a bit of booty fab. Also would need the rear axle to go back a couple of inches.
As I still think you need abit of room in the cab for some stuff.

yeah, and it work very well with a 5link in the front
It was tubed under the skin as a shorty, but the diff peeled of at menia i think, so when they strengthened it, they cut the back off and extended the wheel base
last time I was out with him we were heading to the rut, and got 100m from the start of the rut itself, and the power steering pump got totaly fried, but the day was worth it to see the thing in action, a real beast
