Just trying to find a workshop manual for a 6.2 Chev Diesel. Anyone know where to buy one thats cheap enough. Or maybe have one lying around that they don't need.

Need all the specs/torque settings for the fuel pump, timing, head adjustment etc, so a full manual would be handy.

Also posted in wanted section.

Cheers,
Brighty.

I second cuz on the diesel page.

I have the 6.2L/6.5L diesel removal & replacement guide and the 6.2L/6.5L diesel troubleshooting guide, both published by the diesel page, if you are interested.

Hey Bush65,

How good/informative are these guides??? If they're pretty good, I might order them myself.

Cheers

For someone that is competant working on engines, they are probably all that you would need to work on the 6.2/6.5 chevy diesels, but not for full engine rebuilding.

You can have mine (very good condition) for $10 plus postage.

You can download the military Humvee workshop and parts manuals from this site for free!!
I've not actually done anything with the actual donk except glowplugs and other minor adjustments.
There are two levels of workshop manuals, unit (field level) and full workshop, I'd reckon you would need the latter.
