Hilux 22r altornator charge light comes on when car is started and cold. Car warms up it goes out. So is not working when cold some times when at idle and cold it will go out when driving it comes back on untill warm
<regulater tested ok>

its not your belt is it loose when cold and tightens up when hot
i know this is the opposite to what it should be cant see why temp would be a prob unless your charge light is on when it is still charging put a meter on it just when you first start it up cold and see if it does charge
on the other hand could it be your bat that is on its way out

alt belt is good
no charge when light is on
when light goes out full charge working
