Yeah, better for you!
Seriously, if someone wants to offer space no worries, but I've had 2 of these before, 1 was about 300meg and the other was 2 CD's FULL so at this stage eMule is my best bet and you'll all just have to wait for the trickle.

$12.95 AU for it eh? Heck, there's someone in the UK selling 'em for 0.99 UK Pounds:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 4523743941
Sucks, I paid 4.95 pounds for mine just before they started selling at .99, but still a bargain.
CD is only 166 MB, not too unweildy, and the actual data is in PDF form totalling 155 MB, the rest you can do without.
It's top-notch stuff, exact content used by the dealership technicians, the factory manuals in PDF form.
Brent
Copy Please

at 0.99 pounds, can it break a copywrite do you think?
There is a site in the UK also selling it at A$30, which is a bit more like one may expect, and has some good screen shots of the Adobe pages. I am looking forward to my copy in the next few days.

I forked over $220 USD for the factory manual on CD from Nissan (proper channels) for my 2000 Xterra 4 years ago, and I know the factory manual when I see it. The listing I linked is the same one I bought, and it was the genuine factory manual for the Patrol.
I am not aware of an "Australian" version of FAST, but I have all 6 regions (USA, JPN, RHD EU, LHD EU, RHD general, LHD general). I have a newer version of the USA region, the rest I got from the source listed here:

So does anyone have a 'backup' copy they would be willing to part with ?

Hey brent, yes I checked out that link, thanks, but I think it is the version I have.... from Japan. I thought that it only had vin number listings for vehicles sold in Japan, and half the writing is unreadable. Is it possible to use the US software? How Large is just the program itself?
thanks

Just got mine in the post.
Very impressed with it. Has a vin number search, altho i dont know if it works as i put mine in and doesnt find anything.
All manuals are in PDF format. included is a screenshot of the actual menu, and some pages. so you can see the quality of the pics etc.
Only thing that it comes with the first edition only, and some supplements, but apart from that very detailed and worth the $12
The size of the cd is 167 meg, so you may find it circulating around kazza bittorents and so forth.
any other questions about this let me know

so far i have seen several references to the TD42 and RD28 engines when talking about fuel etc. i havent seen any 3L references.
Under the petrol supplement it refers to the TB48DE engine for europe.
First supplement is for the ZD30DDTi engine which has been adopted in
place of RD28ETi.
the second supplement is for the EGR cooler, which has been adopted to ZD30DDTi engine.
Diesel supplement was only made for exterior changes. although it still refers to TD42 and RD28 (AFAIK)
supplement 4 is for the following:
Manual transmission gear ratio has been modified corresponding to the increase of ZD30DDTi engine
horsepower for Europe.
and Navigation system has been adopted for Europe.
After taking a close look, the manual only seems to cover European and middle eastern versions, however i think that we are still under the same variation world code (its in the users manual) as europe. if someone would like to check, i think we are variation 4.
