pajero power steering

pajero power steering

got a 89 NG lwb pajero commercial (poverty pack) 2.6L with no power steer and want to put power steering on. does the EXE 2.6 hav power steering? and would it fit on to mine, or is there another type of power steering assembly that will work on it?

There is a guy on the 4x4wire.com board that swaped power steering into his old Paj. He is from iceland I think... I just cant rember his name. He has a sweet 85 soft top. Might be something to look into.

As far as I know most 2.6 Paj's had power steering (except the poverty packs) so a retofit shouldn't be much drama.

:) Yes power steering just bolts in , very easy, just need pump and box. Im wrecking 2.6 swb , power steer is in good condition....shane :P
