If i have twisted the sector shaft in my steering box, would
i still get full lock left and right?
I removed the steering dampner and jacked the front up,
and it doesn't bind or feel like there's a tight spot.
What do you guy's think?

I f you have jacked it up and got full lock left right without any binding,
Then i would be looking else where for the prob , what happens when the damper is in place , it may have a bent shaft , also check
king pin bearings -without weight they may feel ok but once the weights there they can bind , A buggered c/v can also give a tight spot on steering - even though the vehicle isn,t in four wheel drive , People don,t relise they can sieze your steering in some cases when damaged .

I'm thinking the boss kit moved when i hit the
step up. The spline's don't look that flash.

Boss kit?
Do you mean by this that the wheel has just turned on the shaft or whatever?

I hope that is all that has happened to mine.
Have not had a chance to check it out properly.

Yes. I have heard of it happening before. It seems as if every
thing else is straight bar the steering wheel. All the measurements
seem good.

Dudes, Crankycruiser put some piccies up on a previous post about his 5th box or something similar....if you look with a descent light above the pitman arm at the spline going into it, you can see if the splines are twisted ....
Other options would be relay rod bent, (or housing)
