Looking for some info after seeing photos of heaps of GQs with heaps of rear flex I wanted to no what difference longer upper or lower arms would have on the suspension travel Im running 4inch springs with rancho 9000s and get full compresion on one spring and what looks to be full extension on the other side and yet when comparing the amount of travel avaiable rigs like Cheezys one was at the original Tuff Truck Challenge have a lot more please help

one of my mates has a gq wagon and is using nearly full travel of a rancho 9012 with all standard suspension links, except for a lengthened panhard rod.

Longer trailing arms will not give you more travel on there own but will give you less rear stear on full flex and easier flex meaning less stress on bushes ect.
To get more flex out of a GQ rear EZ you have to move your shock mount position and use coil retainers. Check out the shock angles on my rig at TTC02.
Thats not to say that a well set up rear with correct set up shocks wont flex more.
