1st gear ratio x low range ratio x diff ratio

3.71 x 5.40 (duals) x 4.875 = 97.66 : 1 crawl ratio approx

check on Marlincrawer's website they have all that info.

first gear low low in my lux is probably a little too low for me, if u need to accelerate out of , say a forwrd roll, the tyres don't turn quick enogh, or in mud, i don't use low low.

for my buggy, i'm aiming for somewhere around 65 - 75 :1 ratio.

so you can go too low chris???

cause i remember seeing in a mag years ago there was a rig that rolled over forwards, he said he could have easily driven straight out, except he was locked in 1st gear low low and ended up writing off his rig

yes you can, this was demostrated at battle of the codes where on one obstacle, nearly every vehicle lifted their back wheels sky high and had to accelerate out of it into a creek. Me included, i was shitting bricks, my truck was in drive thank god and actually got into 3rd gear before my rear wheels hit the ground and i ran into a rock. Way fun though, that's why i'm building a buggy.
