hey guys

did the gq and mq auto's come out with a divorced transfer case?
is there much difference between the two?
are the output flanges the same pattern?
what is the high/low range ratio of the gq auto?

cheers joel

GQ auto is mated to the transfercase (it has been a loving relationship since 1987), which is the same tranfer-case as the manule.
SO high range 1:1
low range 2:1

Some MQs had a seperate transfer case. 4.0 or 2.8 I think.

Some flanges can be swapped. Its a try it and see thing.

Best I can tell the MQ with the L28 petrol engine had the T100 divorced t-case, the SD33 diesel had the T130A married case.

this is not entirely correct, i had an MQ L28 with a married transfer case, i think it may have been the LWB with divorced transfers,

Yeah it is the MQ/K LWB L28 4 speeds that came with the divorced transfer case.

P.S. I have one of these cases if you are interested.

Only wagon petrol motors came out with the divorsed transfer.

i have one here aswell.....

mq and gq flanges them selves are different, but im sure it wouldnt cost much to either get made or make an adapter plate to suit.
