G'day.
I spent some time looking in the US on-line shops manual locking hubs for my 160 MK. It used to have automatic hubs but I bought axle without hubs from a junk/salvage yard.
I was able to find that SuperWinch, AVM and MileMarker make hubs for Patrol 160.
What would be my best choice? I was hoping that Warn makes it's own Premium hubs for MK/MQ but looks like they don't. Do you think it will be better just to find Nissan original manual locking hubs then?
I am located in Russia but I can order stuff from the US since I work in 4x4 parts shop.
Thanks,
Andrey

Manuel locking hubs are the best way to go.

and The factory Nissan ones are far better than anything aftermarket.
Go with nissan ones, maybe a wrecking yard or worst case nissan dealer.......

Problem is the Nissan hubs is expensive! At least in Sweden.

I was quoted four times what the ORA hubs costed, for Nissan hubs!

Original hubs seem to be the best option but they are the most expensive ones. Same thing with my matte's Toyota - AISIN hubs considered to be the best (Toy original), then WARN Premiums. I don't like AVM hubs - their dial is made out of plastic.
I will try to look up used original hubs then in junk yard - thanks for the suggestions. In Moscow, Russia, cost of used original hubs same as brand new AVM or SuperWinch. I don't even know how much a brand new ones - that would be a sky rocket high price.

Snabelost - ORA hubs? I've never heard about them. They look like MileMarker and Warn - I can judge only from picture found on the Internet.

I am just trying find out what locking hubs would be OK if I cannot get original ones.

ive got the original hubs on my shorty, the dials are plastic - not that it makes a difference as its only the dial, never had a problem with them.
My ute has AVM hubs on it, their dials are metal, no problems with those either, only thing i don't like is having to turn them so far around to lock - nearly 360 degrees!
If you're worried about breaking one and being stuck just carry an original solid hub as a spare.

prolly costs the factory $100 to make if that .. $20 for shipping

so i bought POFS AVM hubs from arb to get me going 2 hubs for $180

I think my Ora hubs is from bigballsoffroad / australia.

Look like milemarker and the dail is not made of plastics.

I had AVM-hubs on my Terrano/Pathfinder and they worked great.

dude ur hubs arnt plastic.....

they are metal, they just have a plasticy rubber sleeve over the top of them to stop crap getting in the dial to prevent turning.
I know this because mine were pastic and i scraped the plastic off it on a rock and there is metal just behind the 1mm of plastic....
i just took it all off.

I believe that u cant beet nissan factory hubs. they definatly are the way to go..... maybe try get some at a wreckers....
