I know a few people have put in the EL falcon fans and shrouds on the STD rangie radiator. Has anyone put in the falcon radiator or know if it will fit. My radiator is marginal and brand new falcon radiators are cheap as chips. I am putting in a different engine so the inlets and outlets are not really too much concern.
TIA

Falcon Fans - anyone gone the whole radiator?

I've also done an engine conversion so i needed better cooling. I picked up an ED Folcon radiator and header tank for $40.
With the 2" bodylift it is a perfect fit.
No more cooling dramas.
The other option (which i believe would be better) is if you can find a GQ Patrol radiator for $100 these are also a good fit and a better radiator.

Live fast, die young and have a bloody good looking corpse.
The 1 i have out of the ED has the brass tanks.
The out lets are top left and bottom right on the centre of the right tank is the outlet for the header tank. This was not a problem for me because my batteries are in the back so i had somewhere to mount the tank.
As P76Rangie stated the newer Falcom radiators do tend to have plastic tank so be sure to have a close look because these wont last long.
All this said, i still wish i'd gone for the GQ radiator. They are bigger and more durable.
