does anyone here have any experience with the seires 2 clutch master cylinders?

from what i can see the piston might be draging on the check valve for the fresh fluid line...thus making a mini hydrolic ram and the slave cyl doenst retract to let the clutch out

has it got 3mm of free play when the pedal is fully up??

is the big return spring on the slave cylinder? if not it won't come back fully and just pump up and stay that way

first rig was a LWB IIA, got heaps of parts and have had EVERYTHING go wrong that can...trust me :)

have you got a manual (like a haynes etc)? if so there should be a pic. if you don't I can scan it in and post it up.

The apring is failry large and should pull the slave cylinder back easliy, unless there is a hydralic lock caused somewhere in the system, this is where the 3mm free play of the push rod into the MC is important, that allows the MC piston to come all the way back

Is your setup the one with the steel anister with pipe runing from it to the Master cylinder? if so are the pipes around the right way??
