Have a tech question. I have recently removed a 1.8ltr 1C toyota diesel, and I'm left with the problem of filling the hole? Does anyone know what motor will bolt up to a 1C Bellhousing? Also, I have a 300 Ci Straight 6 Canadian and that many ford motors ya can't poke a stick at them. Wondering if there is a mod plate that you could fit. And if so where do I get one?

we don't get the 1C motor here except in a very small number of grey imports, so won't be much tech on that one. what vehicle was it in?

cheers

But if anyone want the old diesel, let me know. Its still in great nic, but just doesn't have the power i need.

ah ok I think I talked to your brother/mate in another thread. I wasn't much help to him either sorry! - was some talk of am MQ patrol petrol motor (L28?) - that's the go, they are bulletproof and you can get a bellhoising for it from a wrecker for under $50

cheers

yeah , you were a great help, it pointed me in the right areas and asked the few people, and bro is thinking in the right way , why sell a boat when a motor would do great

could you turbo up the 1c with the little itty bitty turbo off a ET pulsar? or supercharge it with an MR2 cupercharger, they can be had from importers for $300ish

plenty of options
