Ive just used the standard Nissan type for my re-builds which i think is steel painted to prevent rust. Make sure replacement is the same thickness as what your taking out. Thickness marker is front right hand side

I'll dig up one of my old import mags, there was an article on a mob in melbourne I think it was who take the standard gasket and make up a copper one from it.

Cost like $180 from memory, pretty cheap considering they are reusable (if you don't fuck it up that is :)

PM me if you don't get a reply from me tomorrow and I'll dig it up.

ACL import a steel lamenated gasket which is 2mm thick. The factory one is 1.25mm.

Also I managed to track down a head stud kit which should help get more clamp force.

Cheers Heath.

threebond liquid gasket white?? thats what i used on the copper one, its stable with fuel and oil and used a lot in bikes, got it from the bike shop, its pretty dear, liquid gasket grey is a lot cheaper but is not for fuel - headgaskets.
