Do a search. This topic has been discussed to death several times. Buried in the threads you will find answers for every conceivable use of your 4WD.

search for lifting a mav topic.
suspension lift: 3" is easy and not many problems, 4" required more parts and start to get problems with vibration etc.
2" body lift is what most people use.
