I am guessing it is for the sig rig?
3" should be enough. M8s have the same on a 60 series diesel. Also duel 3" on a 6.2 chev diesel.
PS: any ideas on snorkel dia for a zook. thinking 2.5".
cheers

I think 3 inch is not quite enough.
75mm donaldson wil only flow enough to run 350 to 4500 rpm.

Currently my engine is a 305 chev on gas so yes it is for my rig below. My mate is getting a 50 mm of 63mm for his zook at the same time by the same guy we know. What other sizes would you recommend for me. The next size up is 100mm this seems to big?

Do what I am going to do, run the 3 inch if not enough then fit another on other side.
I have 355 cubic inches to feed at 6500 rpm thats a lot of air.
Michael.

The problem I have with running dual snorkles is that there is not enough room inside the drivers side for the snorkle to come inside the guard. I will take some pics and post them on here tonight

I'm using a safari snorkle from a lux. od is 88cm (3 1/2"), where the ram pod sits.take off around 6mm for the inside diameter. The inside diameter of the hose at the other end is around 66mm.

2.6lt
When I was chasing up a RAM pod, found they came in two standard sizes for 4bs, 3" and 3 1/2". Truck ones seem to have standard sizes of 2", 3", 4", 5" and 6"
btw, inside diameter for genuine yota snorkle to fit 75 series is 86mm at the ram pod.

I have to have it. My mate already sucked in water in his zook and I dont want it to happen to me. I think I am going to go with 100mm stainless steel as this is the next size up.
