Terano Direct or Indirect injection???

Does anyone know if an 89 terrano is direct or indirect injection.
I would say indirect. Is it the 2.7? Terrano was introduced in UK 1993 and was a venture with Ford who badged their version as Maverick unlike in OZ where it was Gq/ Mav. As far as I am aware the first DI 4X4 was Landrover Discovery in 1989......Wow!!!. I think it took Nissan 11 yrs to catch up with their 3.0 DI in 2000. Maybe other countries have a different story.
