My a/c hasn't had gas in it for probably 5 years (before I bought it), and I am gunna regas it, which most definetly means new seals.
Now I've read on here before that the original compressors are a bit of a drain on the engine - since I am going to rebuild it anyway, I was thinking should I bother getting one off a different car?
I have a VN commo a/c compressor which I could use.
I am thinking it might just be easier to stick with the standard stuff.
Anyway, it's a thought - any suggestions or comments are welcome.
cheers
adam

Better aircon compressor for an L28/MQ
Yes the standard ones TAX the 2.8 big time, I would ask a AIR CON. specialist for advise before swaping to some other compressor. I know the air con. in 4 cylinder camries freeze ya ass off, and don't TAX much power in comparison, but I don't think it would be the compressor alone thats going to benefit the rest of the system......Nissan should never have put a sports car motor in a 4WD in the first place.....
