Door locks

Just a quick one! I have a faulty door lock and was wondering who i would take it too so that i can get it fixed?
Mechanic, locksmith etc!
Never had to do this before!

the key doesnt open it and the lock cylinder seems to move a bit! I'm in Greensborough northern suburbs!

Try a spare key (one that isn't worn out). The lock mechanism plates prolly have worn out. A cheap trick we did was to remove the lock from the car and open the lock (c-clip at the back) . when the key is inserted , all the plates should come up (or down depending on locking mechanism), if one doesn't , pull out corresponding locking plate and try again (keep them in the right order), you can try to fix it by welding and grinding, but if it's just one or two plates that are failing, you can leave them out at all.
a mechanic should be able to fix this problem. (locksmith also..

)

Any mates that live in the northern burbs of Melb that are locksmiths?
