mb u guys can answer another question......

in the mornings, when i reverse or drive the truck for a little bit, there is a shuddering, i suspected that perhaps the cluthplate was cold and was slipping a bit. mb its axle tramp/wrap??

i think it may also shudder driving forwards other times, not just the morning, but i thought that was my bad 1st gear starting technique??

any ideas??

thanks again

When you take off or brake/engine brake the diff will rotate a little bit, this will alter the flange alignment of the transfer and diff pinion and cause a vibe. If you only notice it when accell or decell and NOT coasting, I would bet that this is the vibe you can feel.

you might want to check your centre bearing this could be your problem

Had similar problem with the Raider. In my case it was axle wrap on some very tired and worn springs. New springs and problem was gone.
