Tire Lettering - Inside or Out

What do you you reckon guys. Do you look like a wanker with the tire's white lettering on the outside of your 4x4 or is it considered ok which ever way??? :lol:

if there tuff tires and you want everyone to know you got 4x4 bling then out if there crap so you dont want them to stand out inside lol

Depends, they look shit once you scrub the sidewalls a bit and you start to get that white ring around the tyre where the letters used to be.

Otherwise, bling all the way. :!: :armsup:

yeah the white ring shits me but bopth sides have white lettering on mine

owell ill get a decent set of bling tyres that i can showoff one day soon

I have heard that the layer of white rubber under the surface is not as hard wearing as the black rubber - so having the OWL side out could allow the sidewally to be work/damaged more easily. Don't know if this is true though.

why not add your own personal touch and write you own lettering. use quality pacer brand white out and a sign writing stencil. mabe even a cartoon of your truck for that classy "i have made it look". be careful not to smudge tyre black on it though, nothing looks more cheap and nasty then dirty white writing. be sure to include tyre rotation records written neatly too.

have fun maybe get the kids involved (you can always clean it off with turps should they fumble)

I may be wrong but tyres are black because they add carbon to the rubber when they make the tyre.

personally,, i think it depends on ya rims...... if simply white and black rims...always go black with black and white with white on the outsides!!
