CB coax

most coax's are the same generally, but the main differences are
Single core or multistrand core (multistrand is better where there may be movement i.e. in a car as it breaks less and you have less chance of getting a break in continuity)
Resistivity and signal loss (Basically the amount of resistivity and performance of the cable.)
so just ring around the various electronics stores and ask a few questions and go and buy a few metres. The tricky bit will be getting the cable attatched to the antennae end, as this is usually sold as a unit attatched to the cable already, and will need to be soldered on, and checked for to make sure there is no continuity between the sheath(ground) and core.
alternatively you can buy a connecter for about 3 bucks and join the two ends.
P.S.

If you are asking because you have some coax lying around, you could just go ahead and try to connect it. you wont hurt the unit, as would an improper antennae, it may work it may not. You'd be surprised at some of the s*%t we used to jury rig in the army to get signals out, and a lot of it worked while flying in the face of the laws of physics
