Gearstick console for GQ

Post by Stoknisan »

Does anyone know if these are available as an after market option I can get? Do nissan still sell them? Yeah I know they may cost me an arm and a leg.

The console I am talking about I have only seen fitted once it fits between the the radio and the standard centre console with a lid all GQ's have.

Thinking about making one, would prefer one bolts strait in, but if anyone has had a go can you let me know

thanks

I attempted this, but I appear to be short the extra brackets and screw points under the carpet to mount it properly... just something to be aware of when looking thru a wreckers

I haven't had a close look at what exactly I'm missing but the unit itself won't simply screw down into another patrol.

Thats correct.. an extra bracket that sits on the transtunnel that holds the console in place.

Just get that and the console and drill the bracket on ;)
