Does anybody know where to get a deep auto trans pan for a torqueflite 727 rangie spec. The gearbox is on a slope and the trans pan is made to fit. So the normal Hemi/drag jobbies wont fit

Yeah you may have to get a custom one made up ... the std one is alloy I think ... might even be cast alloy .... and it's definately on a slope too .... it has a couple of holes in the front to bolt a plate between the motor and gearbox doesn't it?? (working from memory here) .... you might be able to get the std one modified to be larger at the rear although you may then run into trouble with it protruding below the chassis rails and the obvious perils that go with that. If capacity is an issue then why not a large oil cooler or maybe a remote reservior setup that holds say 5 or 10 litres and then pumps it through a oil cooler as well ... might be cheaper and easier than larger trans sump?
Cheers

Thought about a remote res set up
The issue is the pump. How much can the standard pump take and how do I get the oil out of the reservior back into the box at the correct rate
Im already running two large capacity coolers

All good questions dude but I'm sure there is suffient knowledge around to resolve them .. maybe call an auto trans shop that has a history with comp stuff ... they may know how.
Good luck
