With what has happened to JimmybXJ you'd better get the engineer over double quick before you drive that sucker.

Don't forget to get down to Bunnings for some lawn edging! :D

Yeah looks real nice mate! are they bolted up to original running gear?
Will be interested to see how u go with the engineer! That is if you are going to get it engineered! :?

Nice one DAS, how's the rear drive shaft holding up? did you go a double carden joint?

Looks good DAS, nicely done. Any closeups of the radius arm connection and the rear trailing arm mounts?

cheers guys

I tried to use some stiffer plastic for flares but the panel work isn't rigid enough so If I were to lean on them off road they would just bend body work. (passed many cop's with these flares)

drivetrain is more or less standard. I have a R380 in stead of the LT77 but I just put a P76 4.4 in, goes nice :)

bugger all vibration with standard rear shaft, all is down low not at higher speeds. my slip joint has slop in it which isn't helping.

as for mount pics I will take afew more...they didn't turn out the first time.

As for engineer's....I can't see a problem, stronger arms, stronger diffs.

Looks good DAS.
I'd be interested to hear what the engineer says about your kinked rear arms and the diff shave. The Qld rego bloke I'm dealing with to get everything blueplated (approved for rego) when I'm done wont let me shave the diffs

Cheers

Why is everyone going on about engineering. Engineers love it when you put something in that is bigger and stronger. As long as what you put in is stronger than the factory then there is no drama's.As far as shaving the diff goes how is that a safety issue. I have spoken to engineers about this and mine and they have all said no worries bigger diffs are safer.
It seems that the otherside of the border seems to be your problem not the size of the diffs. :D :D :D :finger:

I agree with Sam. There has been so much talk of "it's not factory standard, so it must be unsafe, illegal" that you are convincing yourselves that nothing can be engineered for road use.
Not every state is like QLD yet.
Good work DAS.

Wasn't saying engineering would be a drama, just that you wouldn't want to be driving it and get knocked off for un-engineered mods?

Particularly with what happened to the poor dude in Qld and having posted pics on forum is all.

Other than that, nice work!

Now, when are we wrecking that Landy?
