i think i'll take it to a diff joint 12uke, mainly cause the back diff is still making some noise, so i'll get em to fix both at the same time

BTW, did you get your diff sorted out?

it all seems to be there by the parts list. this model doesn't replace the side gears

Ruff & Pos that is how they come the side gears run directly on the bits supplied.

Where you get a Vitara locker for that money? I was looking at buying one in the states and getting it shipped over - most places here want $900 for one and they're $200 US over the internet - I can easy justify $300 odd instead of $900.

Have to see your beast - there's so few modified Vitaras around, and you're up here in Brissy too.

viagra, i got it second hand from a bloke in adelaide that posted it on the suzisport forum, and 12uke pointed it out to me

what mods have you done to your vitara?

88 Soft-top 1.6 carby engine.

15x7 Sunraysia wheels, 30" muddies, 1" body lift, No 2 suspension lift is 2" suspension lift using Kings springs - Ironman struts front and gabriel shocks rear (8" dropout rear!), extractors, no carpet, toolbox instead of rear seat. Alternator number 4 is a Daihatsu applause one - using nylon spacers on crank pulley and water pump..

Need that rear locker desperately now...... It's either that or a full sports exhaust system next (much cheaper but not as useful).

It's at the limits for tyres without either 3" body lift or cutting the metal. I don't want to go more body lift for stability reasons, so the jigsaw and the guards are gonna get real cosy soon.
