Has anyone had anything to do with a diy liner from the U.S called HURCULINER, aparently its about $200 for 4 lts thats pretty cheap compared to some other liners , but i am wondering if the old ( ya get what ya pay for ) applies with this stuff being diy and all.

I know of a few on this forum that have used it. Bj on roids is the first I can think of.
Works well, fades in the sun but as long as its applied following the ditrections is great!

herculiner is good, I have used it for inside cabs and outside in the weather. But if the surface isn't PERFECTLY clean to begin with it is useless. Clean everything with prepsol thoroughly, when you think you have it perfect, clean it again. If it is going to see alot of sunlight paint over the top of it with acrylic auto paint.

I have also fould Poly Shiled and POR very good products. POR paints on and is self leveling, great stuff. Poly Shield need to be sprayed on at temp but is pretty much indestructable. I painted my entire BJ42 in Poly shiled and it was awesome, you could rip half the panel off and it wouldn't scratch.

I've got 3 tubs of herculiner in my garage

Paid $189 from Auto1 in Waitara
BTW reports from the lads in the US is the BEST results of herc are when you spray it on using a low pressure undercoat gun....This is what I'm waiting purchasing before applying to the TJ, the other two rigs are still some time any from being ready for their coatings.....

A Herculiner question for those that know.
Whats the Volume to Area covered ratio?
I am wanting to do the inside of my single cab lux, and in the future the tray. How far does a tin go? 1Litre? 4 Litres?
Any ideas?
Cheers

4 litres should just stretch.. I did the inside of a single cab hilux, the flat part of the tray back (about 2000x1600) and a few other odds and ends, and still had about half a litre left.. Just do one coat over everything and see if you have enough left to do another coat, if not go and buy another tin before you put everything back together..

Did mine this week and

F@CK does this stuff stick to ya skin

tryed acetone, petrol, metho, prepsol and any other solvent i could think of and the did SWEET FA. But on the up side this product is shit hot and would throughly recomend it . but bear in mind if u dont do a clean up lap of ya vehicle (Which i didnt)at completion you may find a few runs on ya paint work and beleive me it wont come off, but mine did becuase it took some of the paint with it

luckly its gunna b behind my bumper. Im trying it on some stainless tomorow as if it works ill tape up an area on my steps/sliders for a bit more grip makes them more useful thet way(make the missus
