Restraining long flexible brake lines

I have extended brake lines that "flop in the breeze" at the moment, and before I can get engineer approval they must be held away from other moving parts- eg leaf springs, shock absorbers etc.

How have others addressed this problem? Those ocky (or stretch) straps are out of the question.

I was thinking maybe a really long coil spring running around the flexible part of the brake line over it's full length?

The spring is about the best you can do on a leaf spring car, if it was coil then you would run them down the top trailing arms with rubber at each end :>

OK thanks. Anyone know where I can find some long springs- Bunnings? BTW it's only the fronts that are a problem- and on a Hilux.

For the hose armour, go to a shop that make hydraulic hoses (such as pirtek).

Just do what Ive seen on some vehicles, run a large soft spring to the middle of the hose and other end of spring to chassis etc. A hose clip with the rubber inner will be OK for the connection to brake hose.
