Is it possible to fit a 32 or at worst a 31 on a 15' rim on a stock disco. If not will for eg: the 32 fit with a 2" suspension lift?

Not sure about the 15" rim bit.
with a 2" lift people are fitting 235/85-16 (32") and 265/75-16 (32") in a variety of brands, and even with a light rub 33x10.5-16 Simex JT2's. It will also require a bullbar to fit.

Reason why i wanted to go to the 15 was because i can pick up some tires and rims cheap. Any idea if ill have probs fitting them with regards to brake calipers etc?

Mate, I don't know of anybody that has done it personally (I do mix a lot in D2 circles) though a serviceman at MLR down in Melbourne has told me that he has seen 15" rims on a D2 once, but didn't get to check out the mods to make them fit. His name is Pete on this group:

You will have to join to post, but it is Aussie Disco2 specific.

I think its a commodore stud pattern.

PCD is 5x120 which I think is the same as a Commodore, though the centre hole which is weight bearing is different, and the LR stud size is significantly different. This said, I'm pretty sure I've heard of a commodore rim being used - though don't take my word for it.
