The GLS would have had 265/70-15 tyres - about 30x10.5 in old money. The GLX model probably had 235/75-15 - about 29x9, if memory serves me correctly.
31x10.5s will fit pretty easily, particularly if the suspension has seen any work. You may need some flares on the guards to keep the boys in blue happy. Some people claim a 32" tyre will fit with minor rubbing, 33" tyres require a body lift.

thanx for that...the only lift it will see might be a 2' body but thats about it

You will fit 33's with a 2" body lift
