Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Does anyone know what year the first extra cab 4x4 hilux's with the 2 litre petrol engines were sold in Australia? Mine says 84 on the plate but the red book doesnt list one until 86. I seem to recall that when i bought the car the guy told me it was an 86. Just wondering as it may affect my insurance valuation.

it was very late 83 rare 84 mod every were
