GQ newbie questions

Evening all,
I've just purchased an '89 GQ Patrol Wagon and, in searching for a little bit of info, found this site......so here I am :)

I've got a question re the rear doors (the wagon doors). The RHS one has a noticeable sag when you open it. So far as I can see, it's because of the bottom hinge......or to be more precise, the buggered pin in the hinge. You can lift the door up and down and watch the hinge move in the middle, so I'm almost positive that's the problem. Question is, is it feasible to knock the existing pin out and replace it, or should I just get a new hinge and fit it?

Thanks in advance......I'm sure there will be many more questions as I get comfortable with the car :)

Replace the hinge... I know dudes that have beaten the snot out of theirs only to bend the whole thing and have to buy new anyway..

its not uncommon

I managed to get a hinge from the wreckers for $35. Nissan wanted $108, unpainted, for *one* hinge

I stripped the paint and freed it up this arvo......just got to paint it and fit it now!
