What are you trying to achieve with custom bump stops?

More articulation, the torsion bars have been wound up and they are close to the upper bumstops, I just want a little more movement

Last vehicle I had with torsion bars was a feroza.
Had the same problem when I wound em up.
I just removed the bumstops, cut and ground em back till ther was almost nothing left and bolted em back on.
Worked well

Yeah you can just hack the crap outa them.
They dont have much weight on them anyway they are just there to stop metal on metal contact at full droop.
I bought round shaped poly ones that are thinner than the factory ones and bolted straight in. But in hind sight i would have been just as better off cutting the standard ones.

Paul,
Where did you get the poly ones from? Just any old suspension shop?

I got mine from Eddie at 4wd USA.
You can have mine if you want in a month or so hopefully.
Going to try and get some SASing done shortly.
Mine are the same as these ones

I found a set of Volvo bump stops which are conical so there compress progressively and dont bang like the originals when you bottom out-even with a lift I think its best to use em
