THIS IS IN THE WANTED SECTION BUT LAST LINE OR TWO IS A TECH QUESTION - LEFT THE REST ON INCASE ANYONE ELSE CAN FIND THESE ITEMS.

Hi there,

Looking for a H151 Gearbox...

The H151 box comes in the UZJ100 V8, FZJ105 6cly petrol, and the HDJ100 turbo diesel.

Would need the Gearbox and Transfer, preferably a part time one.

The V8 and turbo diesels, as far as i know, only came out full time 4wd.

FZJ105 is the way to go if you can find one but I will need the bellhousing from a UZJ100.
If I go this way I would need the uzj100 flywheel and clutch.

Also the 80 series version might be a possibility but, the input shaft on a FZJ80 or FJZ105 could be a different length to a uzj100 - CAN ANYONE VERIFY THIS...?

Also for 1UZ swap, what sump would be best to use off what model.
I want the crown model as EMS is separate to the G/Box Computer, would this sump suit or not?

No body knows... :oops:

I can get a 1FZ-FE Gearbox and tranny for about $1750 at the moment, apparently it is part time too...

But will it bolt upto the 1UZ, and will I need to buy anything else...

Hmmm... Lets see is anyone can tell me.

Meldge;
The 78 and 79 series cruisers also came with a H151F gearbox, this is with the 1HZ motor.
The 78 and 79 series with the 1HD-FTE and 1FZ-FE motor both had the H150F gearbox.
All 78 and 79 series are part time 4x4.
