Someone on another group is looking for a traction aid device for a 90 something 2WD Bravo.

1.Is there a factory LSD?

2. Is the diff the same as the 4WD version?

3. What can still be brought off the shelf to fit?

Thanks, that helped a lot :D :finger:

When he mentioned he just needed dirt road use so was only going to get a 2WD version and put a locker in the back, it was suggested he just go straight to a 4WD version and skip the locker.

 He wants something off the shelf for a Bravo / Courier

Not sure on 2WD but 4WD diff is LSD.

No one is currently producing lockers - auto locker were made but not any more and no one has stock left - ARB are still "working" on a air locker.

So all Couriers/Bravo's have LSD rear?
Is the rear the same as front?

Front is IFS so not sure. There are two ratios, 4.44 and 4.88 although the later was only on the auto and prob eazier to find rocking horse poo. The rear axles are pre-loaded like many cars and not the typical 4WD (ie, if you take one out, you have to reset both).

Also the springs setup are different on the 2wd.

You may find more here http://forums.vmag.com/ptbseries/ but that forum is no longer active.
