I have a '91 2door with a 3" front and a 4" rear lift.
I used custom upper control arms at the front (which severly limits downtravel) and cutom springs at the rear.
There are out of the box 4" lifts available (Rancho,..) but I don't know how they work for serious offroading in OZ.
Have a look at the
www.4x4parts.com discussion board. There are a lot of D21 owners around. But keep in mind that not everything they do is street legal here.
I would not do it again, as it is cheaper to upgrade to a heavy duty 4wd like a GQ including some mods in the long run.
Cheers

Sounds good.
I was going to order a heap of stuff for the front end from (spencer lowe racing) the US but I found out that the gear they do only suits left hand drive. I went the SAS instead. I am about 8 or 9 inches higher than standard now.
I find the pathy is a good size 4x4 and once the mods are done they are very capable.
I was beginning to think that I was the only one on here with an early Pathy.
Cheers.

I have a 89 2door lifted 3 inches using f100 front springs cut down in the rear with the tbars cranked at the front with ball joint spacers .i am currently working on a 3.5 alloy rover v8 conversion using the original auto gearbox and transfer case.after this is done then i want to tackle a sas front end. its good to hear there is actually some modded pathys in australia .they seem to cop a bit of a bagging.but i think they are just as capable as most.
