swapping Auto hubs to manual hubs,PROBS

just put manual hubs on to replace the auto ones and swaped the centre and ADD to an earlier model one and now Ive got low Range but don`t have High range what could be the prob?
My truck is an 90 model 4runner 2.8D

from what i know the high range was electric off the 4wd button and low range was manual activation. either put the original tranfer stick back in using the activation button to select high range only not to lock the hubs. or put a switch on your dash to activate the high range solenoid. i may be wrong mine is a pov pack with manual everything

Have you swapped the whole front diff to an earlier model to 1 without a sensor (and without ADD) that shows when the ADD is enguaged.(ie: no plug for your old wires).
I had the same prob when I did the front conversion to solid axel. You have to bridge out the 2 wires that went to the ADD senser. All is good now. I even unplugged the loom that went to the front diff at another plug at the side of the sump and bridged the wires there.

i still have the stick in with button but the wires and hoses have nothing to join to as i don't have the ADD centre in anymore

this might sound stupid but what do you meen by bridge the wires
