Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I have a nissan badged eurovox radio which is asking for a security code after disconnecting the battery.
Is this code a 3 pin number or a 4 pin?

it would be a 4 pin number if you are going to guess you will only have three goes at it before the stereo will shut down and it wont work unless you go back to nissan to get it fixed some stero shops can get the code out for about 30 bucks

pm me the vin, and serial numners, and model number, and i may be able to get it for you. it will be either a 4 or 6 digit number, depending on how good it is.

most of these codes are a combination of the vin no as far as i can tell. you just need to find someone that knows how the formula goes. ive also heard that they use key no.s on some cars too. is there a key no on the key?

I think I have the pin number (a 4 digit number was writtern in the owners book) but the radio seems to be only accepting 3 digits before it locks out.

It only gives me one go every 5 minutes.

All sorted,
It gives you 3 attemps at putting in the 4 digit pin before it locks out.
If it locks out then you need to disconnect the power for 5 minutes before trying again.
