sweet about time you put something around the back of that thing.
Looks good have you got all your springs worked out know.

Yeah thanks dave, those are my original bars from chaos but i changed all the mounts and moved it further back to protect the tailgate more.
Springs are pretty good but i'm still having to use spacers in the back so ideally 6" soft duty 80 series springs would be great. I'm at 4" heavy duty at the moment.

what do you guys reckon of this - it will have bars from the side protection bar back to the frame - not show on drawings

btw - engineers need not reply :P

Looks good but i'd run another tube approx 75x50x3mm wall between your two arms that run into the rail, just behind the reciverand weld reciver to it aswell.
Hope that all made sence.

i'll do that and get rid of the tirangle gussets

I would also run a smaller tube along the rear quarter about 6inches above that to give some lowerquarter protection.
The triangular gussets could be good for attaching recovery points under the bar.

recover points i had already thought of that one - i think i might copy the allpro one a bit - that drawing is now no good as the mounts wont just slide in i need to have it bolt on further down like the all pro one below

Better than your rim drawings :finger: :finger:

Buddy that is exactly the way i would make it only add some bracing to the ends back to the chassie as well.
