running 35's

Question 1
i have 2" lifted rear springs with the helpers removed and extended shackles, spring clamps removed. On full comperession the tire rubs hard on the chassis limiting flex, even with 33's still rubs. What are my options to solve this problem? What does everyone else do? Rims or spacers or both? Or is there another option?

Question 2
With front diff moved forward 1.5", right hand down turning is restricted. haven't really struggled too much with it yet. Since i'm only running 2" lift springs, what are my options to correct my steering without going to crossover? Should i mod my factory steering arm or is there some other option?

My 33's actually bind on the chassis and prevent forward movement etc.

I am putting an ifs rear axle housing in which will give me another 1.5" either side to work with and maybe stop it rubbing.

If it is sitting the way it is in that avatar pic you may wanna consider a few more inches of lift in the rear anyway.

i think he wants to stay as low as possible. the tires don't hit the tray or anything they are rubbing on the chassis rails.

If your worried about getting busted go with the IFS rear. If I understand the rules correctly you can legally swap the rear housing in as an "owner assessed" mod or some such crap. Spacers are outright illegal and I think big changes in rim offset are a no no too. Nobodies gonna notice if you do offset ya rims if you ask me anyway. Next question is can you get enough offset in rims to clear the chassis anyway.

Clint, im running IFS rears with 200mm shackles. Had the same with my 33's scraping the side of the chassis and also at the front rubbing on my shocks. Have to see how the 35;s go, but id say im in for more of the same

Like HnM said, go for an IFS rear housing and hub kit for the front. gives you heaps better track. Personally, I wouldnt do rim spacers, but might consider getting your rims to a deeper offset.

when u put in an IFS rear end how much different is the front track from the rear?

whats a hub kit for the front?

I was going to install IFS rear springs into mine but might be considering changing the whole rear end now :?

Offsetting the rims would be cheaper but what if you get a flat out whoop whoop?

$350 for front hub spacing kit and $150 for rear housing with axles ;)

Can't go wrong for $500 me thinks, just don't know yet if they will still scrub out.

The wider tracks will be a lil more stable, hopefully clear the chassis and force a lil more flex outta it too.

here's a pic of his current set up and flex.
i think he was gonna put IFS rear springs in but he's got that much flex now anyway. i suppose he'll wait untill he solves the rear tire rubbing problem.

Anyone got any ideas as to what to do about the steering??

yes go the off set rims-easiest and provided the tyres dont stick out too much wont draw attention
