Has anyone put a turbo on a petrol 3.5l Range Rover

janspeed in the uk did single and twin turbo applications, very fast and very$$$ but is possible. turbo technics also uk. it sounds like having fuel injection is a better option as too much heat in the engine bay when the engine is switched off can cause the fuel in the carb/s to vaporize and make it difficult to restart the engine. theres a fare bit of info in a book called" tuning rover v8 engines" by David Hardcastle
