Yes i would have to agree,I have replaced my rancho 9000's with the pro comp's about 6mths ago,And i have never looked back.
The pro comp's are great,(And i'm not just saying that cause i sell them either)

Are the RS9000x equivalents adjustable? How do they compare $ wise?

Not quite as good as koni's, but pretty close.
But I must qualify that in that I used to have koni's on the suzi which was highly modified for off-road racing & use the pro-comps on the gq which is stock standard.
And I live with the fashion police, so brand names are everything!

While on topic, does anyone have lengths and/or part number specs on ProComp shocks?

Also, are these generic valving or are they tailored to a particular vehicle/weight?

Cheers.

we work on rally car that used to have koni shocks and replaced them after every rally cause they keep failin in thefront and rear [blown seals and bent shafts ] fitted procomps 4 rally's ago and still goin strong ,koni's are great in souped cars but i would not fitt to a 4wd off any sort .just my opion. :)

What about rust issues?
Some LR mates in UK rant about poor croming (so it seems)

I ask as a full set of +2" 9K is offered here @245 Euros,
roughly half than OME.

There's also the slight feeling Pro-Comp +2" could be a bit more than OME +2"...?
:?:

Cheers
