Hey all,
This evening a wierd loud buzzing noise started coming from the relay/fuse area in the driver's side footwell of my '89 GQ diesel Patrol. It went away after a couple of minutes and nothing seemed to be affected while it was happening (engine still ran, lights still worked, instrument lights still worked etc), but I'd like to know if anyone else has had this happen. I see from my Gregory's manual that the control unit for the glow plug system is down there......is it likely that could have been where the sound was coming from?

Ah, ok. So buzzing doesn't neccessarily mean knackered? Phew!

I suspect there may have been a small (I hope) amount of water leak into the inside during the underbody wash yesterday. I'll have a closer look inside the recess today and try to seal the leak if possible!
