Went wheeling in the Wattos yesterday, and after airing up at Mandalong I got onto the freeway and 70Km and got a massive death woble (GQ)

Put the hubs back in and drove back to sydney no worries.....exit onto penno rd and it starts wobbling again

I geuss i will be doing the bushes, but any one have any idea why locking the hubs in would have helped?? am I missing something, everything looks in good nick

OK.....my theory is that the ballance is way out due to rolling the front drivers tyre off the rim, and the hubs being locked in is coincidence

Comments??

I guess locking the hubs in put more dampining effect on the front end similar to a steering dampner.

Hey had the same thing happen except in bad traffic going down a hill at also 70km/h, a bit scary. The only help I can give you is probably an obvious one, one of my steering connections (big still rod thing not steering damperner) had unbolted. Had this huge wobble got out and that was the problem. Not sure if this helps but once this was fixed, then I could continue to steer!. *****SAFETLY*****

by not not
Try looking under the front end and go over the lot also jack up each front and check for loose front bearings I have been wondering what my front wobble was and turned out bearings neede a nip up
Just a thought
